April 2009

April has been an eventful month and it is only half over! We have certainly been entertained by the outdoor activities occurring in our backyard. We have become the adoptive parents of 2 female cats and a host of others too. The little black and white cat would dearly like to move into the house and I am sure she will soon. The darling white/calico cat is pregnant and I am busy trying to move her into our home so she can have her kittens there. I will certainly post pictures when they arrive. I feed the cats each morning and evening and so we have had other visitors who enjoy snacks too. George and I also had to rescue the black & white kitten from the garage roof at midnight on a very cold Palm Sunday. Check out the pictures, it has been fun to have these creatures visit us.

April Update. With help from Barb G. we were able to bring this white kitty into our home on April 16. She adjusted well to being inside and I know she now feels safe. we have named her Trouvee which means found in French

This sweet kitty is pregnant and we are trying to coax her into our house so her babies will be safe. I will post pictures of the little ones when they arrive.

March 2009

A new year has started and I have decided to only post this years happenings on this page. I will put up pictures from members of classes I have taught and other "stuff" I think you might enjoy. I purchased a Flip camera and I am working on quilting tip videos which I will be posting, if not here, with a link to youtube so you can watch them.

Twelve of us took a class from Barbara Olson last year and she has contacted our group about having pictures of our projects in her new book. Peg G., Annie R. and her sister Karen G. have finished their quilts. the rest of us are in different stages of doneness. Hopefully this invitation will inspire the rest of us to complete our projects soon.
