Welcome! It has been several years since I started this web site. Many good things have happened because of my love of quilting. I have met many talented and inspiring women and men who share the love of fabric creation with me. I have transitioned from making every pattern I saw to creating my own patterns. I now make fewer quilts than before and they have changed from truly traditional to more art quilts. However, I still love traditional quilts and admire the time and effort to create them. I have crafted enough quilts to warm many beds so now I am trying to cover all the walls I can find with my new passion of wall quilts. I still love teaching quilting. One of the greatest rewards I have found is to inspire someone else to try to go beyond where they are and to be able to do it. Others helped me along this path and I hope I can pass this along to others venturing down these new roads. One of the highlights of 2008 was the sale of the Hillary pattern. We were able to send The Morris Animal Foundation a check for almost $900.00. The Foundation funds research to develop vaccines and treatments for the health of our beloved pets. Again Welcome to my site. If I can help you with a quilting problem or question please feel free to contact me. We all started out at the beginning but together we can make quilting a wonderful and full-filling hobby/vocation for everyone

My first quilt! Made for my Mother's 80th birthday in 1988. It is one of three hand quilted quilts I have made. I now machine quilt exclusively.
We still love our Brewers and baseball is almost here! George, my husband, is counting the days until he starts working in the ticket office at Miller Park, so am I, as this is when I quilt like crazy! 'Go Brewers Go'
